Having not been to Buckmore park since his Bambino days, Freddie took the challenge to learn the circuit in his new class. The day began wet and he started where he left off the day before. At the sharp end of the practice sessions Freddie showed his immediate pace whilst learning key points of the circuit from his experienced teammates around him. The track eventually dried in the afternoon and slick tyres were bolted to the kart for the first time this winter. Getting used to the new style harder compound tyres was difficult to start, but after a session bedding the new tyres in Freddie went straight to the front. With outstanding consistency Freddie’s last sesssion was very strong and he proved in 6 sessions he could learn the track with ease. The next time the team will visit this track will be a championship meeting in April.
